Consultant Robert Bruce Shaw isn’t the first to examine successful 21st-century teams, but his observations are fresh and insightful. Pixar uses constant feedback, while Whole Foods fosters super-autonomous teams. What they all have in common is the willingness to toss conventional wisdom overboard to make room for innovation.
